Literally Bitten
Books brought them together, blood lust binds them, but can her puritanical father pull them apart?
Lily loves fiction and has done since she was a child. It was her escape from the harsh reality of life being brought up by just her over-protective dad. Tom only ever reads textbooks, claiming that there’s enough to fascinate in this world and that he has no need to read about pretend places. But when he walks into Lily’s book shop he finds out they have a lot more in common than he first thought.
When the young couple take a trip to the famous vampire and human bar, The Point, Lily gets a shock. Her estranged father is there as part of a Purity protest; he is violently opposed to her, Tom and anything that the cult calls unclean. Which is just about anything fun.
Can Lily and Tom overcome these prejudices and their own inexperience to find love that will last forever?

Lily lost her mother when she had been a tiny tot and was raised by her father without the love and support a child needs.  She found peace in the library when she started school and ever since that has been her peaceful place.  She started working in a shop aptly named Book Love and it was the perfect job.  When the old owner died he left it all to her, the store and the debts.  She got a business loan and turned it around and she was happy.  It had been five years since she left her father as life had gotten impossible.

One afternoon Tom finally built up the courage to go into the shop.  He had been trying to do so for a long time and he finally made it.

Sometime ago Lily had been bitten and turned into a vampire but left to find her own way in this new world.  When she tried to bite Tom she discovered he too was a vampire and recently turned.  They got to know each other and were exploring the new world together.  Loving and learning.
