How strong are the ties that bind?
Compass Brothers, Book 4
Leah Hollister’s sex life needs a swift kick in the pants. Small-town Compton Pass, though, isn’t the place to explore her need for bondage. When she gets an invitation to a BDSM party out in LA, she wastes no time booking a flight.
Her plan to play anonymously is shot to hell when she runs into high-school crush Sawyer Compton—and he lays immediate claim to her.
Sawyer Compton commands total control, in and out of the bedroom. He never thought Leah could handle his darker urges, but one look at the white bracelet that marks her as a sub ripe for the picking, and he knows exactly how this night is going to end. With Leah in his bed.
Leah didn’t expect to enjoy the comfort Sawyer’s familiarity brings, even as his touch takes her to unimaginable heights of pleasure. When bad news from home sends him reeling, she’s more than prepared to offer him anything he needs: her body, her friendship. Even her heart—if Sawyer can loosen the reins over his own to accept her love.

Excerpt:
“Leah?” a familiar male voice behind her said.
Leah closed her eyes and prayed she’d imagined it. There was no way. No possible way—
“Leah Hollister?”
She sighed. Fuck. What were the chances?
Turning, she realized her night wasn’t going to end as she’d planned. She should have saved her money. Should have stayed in Compton Pass. She was screwed.
“Sawyer.” She didn’t bother with the pretense of being happy to see him. “What the hell are you doing here?”
“Leah,” Stacey whispered, her voice full of warning.
Sawyer narrowed his eyes, refusing to answer. His gaze started at the top, taking in her dramatic makeup, before drifting lower to her breasts, accentuated by the tight corset Stacey had loaned her. She willed herself to remain still as he finished his visual tour with a long look at her short leather skirt and stocking-clad legs.
“Enjoying the view?” she taunted. “You still haven’t answered my question. Shouldn’t you be in San Francisco? What are you doing here?”
He scowled. “That’s my question for you. A BDSM party in L.A. is a long way from a kindergarten classroom in Compton Pass. Last time I saw you, you were leading a pack of five-year-olds around my family’s ranch.”
A couple of years earlier, Sawyer had helped her organize a field trip to Compass ranch. It had been one of the highlights of the year for her students—and for her. It was also the last time she’d seen Sawyer. Two years was a long time. She certainly hadn’t expected their reunion to take place in L.A.
She sucked in a deep breath and tried to hide her disappointment. He was right. She’d purposely put herself as far away from home as possible, so that she could indulge in these two nights. One weekend to confirm a few suspicions she’d always held in regard to her sexual preferences. Sawyer was going to put a wrench in the works.
She gestured at her outfit. “I would think my role here would be obvious.” For the first time, she allowed her gaze to travel over him as well. Her body heated with arousal as she noted how unbelievably sexy he was. He wore tight dark jeans and a black T-shirt that hugged his muscular chest to perfection. No one in the place would fail to read the dominance in his stance, the aura of power he projected.
On the surface, she was shocked to find her friend in a place like this, but there was another part—deep inside—that wasn’t a bit surprised. He belonged here.
“So you’re a Dom?” She fought the urge to laugh as she asked the absurd question. Of course he was.
His gaze drifted to her arm. He grasped her wrist, pulling it up and toying with the white wristband the host had given her upon arrival.
“You understand what this means, right?” he asked, gesturing to the bracelet.
Sawyer completely ignored her Dom question. It didn’t matter anyway. It had clearly been rhetorical. He was a Compton. Anybody and everybody from their neck of the woods knew that name was synonymous with alpha male.
She gave him an annoyed look. “Of course I do.”
It was evident from his tone he didn’t think she belonged here any more than Stacey. One of the reasons she’d planned this adventure far away from home, surrounded by strangers who didn’t know her, was because rumors spread like wildfire in their small hometown. She knew about Sawyer’s sexual proclivities, and she’d always wondered if she shared a few of them.
Besides, her sweet disposition didn’t inspire the more adventurous cowboys back home to ask her out, so her opportunities for exploration were seriously limited. Stacey was right. She was a goody-goody.
Sawyer didn’t appear to like her answer, so he restated the obvious. “It means you are an unattached submissive who’s looking for a Dom. This wristband has declared it open season on you.”
She shrugged, unconcerned. “Sorry to shatter the illusion, Sawyer, but I think I can handle whatever this party dishes out. It’s not like I’m a virgin.”
He frowned. “You lost your virginity in the backseat of a Pontiac to Les Prescott after Compton Pass won the district football championship our senior year. The guy was a shithead. You should’ve chosen better.”
Leah laughed, though a ripple of desire slammed into her. It was always this way with Sawyer. Though they were just friends, there’d never been a time when she hadn’t felt his gaze on her. He’d scared off more than a few would-be boyfriends in her lifetime claiming they were only after one thing. Les had fallen into that category, but Sawyer had been playing on that championship team and had been a bit distracted that night.
Sawyer had appointed himself her personal guardian in third grade when Jordan Haskiell had shoved her down on the playground after she’d beat him in a footrace. As a result, Sawyer had endured an afternoon in the principal’s office and God only knew what kind of punishment at home after issuing Jordan a very physical, very painful warning of what happened to guys who messed with Leah. While Sawyer hadn’t pursued her romantically, he’d certainly taken the bonds of friendship to a new extreme.
Despite the fact they’d existed in different cliques at school, Sawyer hadn’t let social status stop him from being one of her best friends. He’d run with the jocks and cheerleaders, while she’d been firmly encamped with the brainiacs, less affectionately referred to as nerds by their peers. “How could you have known about Les?”
“I told you. He was a prick. He was bragging about it at school the following Monday.”
She flushed. She’d never heard of Les spreading rumors about her. “I didn’t know—”
Sawyer grinned. “Luckily, he started his boasting with me. I took him out behind the school and gave him a reason to shut his fucking mouth.”
His admission held a hint of humor, but she could tell he was angry. She decided to test the waters to see how screwed she was.
“Well, it was great to see you again, but Stacey and I were going to pop over to the bar for a drink.”
“I’ll go with you.” He confirmed her fear.
She smiled and shook her head. “No, I don’t think that’s a good idea. You’re scaring off all the other Doms.”
His wolfish grin let her know that was his intent.
Her temper sparked. “God dammit, Sawyer. Go away.”
Stacey lightly touched her arm, alerting Leah that she’d spoken too loudly. Several people glanced in her direction and frowned. She was never going to achieve her goal at this rate.
Sawyer was the only person in the room who didn’t take offense at her faux pas. “You realize this is a weekend party?”
She nodded. It was starting to look like it would be a long two days.
Sawyer reclaimed her hand, slipping off the white bracelet.
“What the hell are you doing?” She tried to pull her arm free, attempting to grab the wristband back.
Sawyer’s grip was implacable. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a green bracelet. Suddenly, she felt dizzy. There was no way he would—
Sawyer slipped it around her wrist.
“No,” she whispered when he lifted her hand.
This so going on my TBR list! Congrats Mari on Western Ties being in print!

Mari Carr and a Saturday Snippet of Misplaced Lessons

Saturday Snippet

by Mari Carr

Today's theme is emotion. I LOVE emotional books. Stories that make me laugh or cry or scare me! Today I'm sharing a snippet from my latest release, Misplaced Lessons. I loved writing the heroine in this story because she was spunky and fun! When I was writing her, I thought "Wow, I'd love to have a friend like Amy." Then I realized my best friend IS exactly like Amy. LOL
Misplaced Lessons snippet (be warned...it's a dirty one!)
“When I give you an order, Amy, the proper response is ‘Yes Sir’.”
“Oh yeah. Right. Got it.” She pasted on a look of innocence, knowing her reply would annoy him.
“You don’t mess around, do you? Change of plans. Since you want to play the naughty girl, we’ll start with a punishment.”
As he spoke, he lifted her. She wasn’t exactly a small woman. She liked her vegemite on toast as much as the next girl. Withholding that treat or counting calories wasn’t something she was willing to do. Regardless of the extra pounds, her handsome Sir picked her up as if she were stuffed with feathers, putting her on her stomach with ease.
“Lift your ass.”
“Excuse me?” She twisted her head to look at him over her shoulder.
“Wrong answer. Again.” He gripped her hips none too gently, raising her. Then he forced her to bend her legs, resting her weight on her knees. The new position left her very exposed. And wet.
She didn’t have time to consider what that meant before his hand struck her arse. It took her off-guard and it fucking hurt.
She started to rise, but he placed a strong hand between her shoulder blades and pushed her face against the pillow.
“Don’t move.”
“I’ll bloody well do whatever I want,” she said as his hand landed against her sensitive flesh once more.
“No. You won’t,” he said as he struck her twice more. She continued to struggle, but the man was strong as a horse. Amy’s arse was sore from his spanking, however, she couldn’t help but notice the heat was morphing into something infinitely less painful. She stopped resisting the blows. Her sudden capitulation caused him to cease striking her for just a moment. Then he picked up his rhythm again—his hand landing in different places along her buttocks and upper thighs. No slap was the same.
Amy started squirming again, but this time, she wasn’t seeking escape. She was looking for relief.
He must have recognized her need. Gripping one knee, he pulled her legs apart then ran his fingers along her damp slit. She heard him release a long breath, a whispered “oh yeah mingling with the air.
She gasped when he pressed two fingers inside her pussy. His actions were quick and forceful. After so many years with lovers who were too careful, too gentle, his rough claiming felt like a homecoming, only she was returning to a home she’d never seen.
“Harder,” she begged.
He took her at her word, adding another finger, increasing his pace. Amy’s fingers clenched the pillow beneath her head as she lifted her hips, shoving them against his delicious thrusts. He was fucking her into oblivion with no more than a spanking and his fingers. Bloody hell. Had she seriously considered refusing this gift?
Gray spots formed behind her closed eyelids. She was going to come. Her body stiffened in preparation, but he retreated seconds before she could close the deal.
“What the hell?” Impulse overrode common sense as Amy turned, ready to demand her due. “Don’t stop.”
His arms were folded. “Still trying to give the orders?”
“Fine,” she shrugged, wishing her voice didn’t sound so shaky. “I don’t need you to get what I want.”
After too many months of abstinence, she’d become an expert at finding her own pleasure. She reached for her pussy.
Strong hands grasped her wrists before she hit her target. “Wrong. You do.”
Amy tried to free herself from his grip, but he was relentless. Within seconds, she was on her back, bound in the restraints once more. Her handsome stranger, still fully dressed, straddled her legs, completing the effect.
Why does it feel so good being trapped beneath him?
Because you’re not exactly small and girly, but he makes you feel that way. That’s why.
“Had your fun?” he asked.
“Not yet.”
He grinned. “You’re a shitty submissive.”
“No, I’m not. You strike me as the type of man who works hard for what he wants. Where’s the challenge if I just lay down?”
He tilted his head. “Christ.” His brows creased. “You’re right.”
She lifted her eyebrows, surprised he’d admit such a thing. Marc and Keith told her she was too independent and outspoken for her own good. More than once, they’d referred to her as a pushy cow.
“I am?”
He nodded slowly. “Fight me all you want, Amy. Just be warned, I’ll still win.”
She yanked against his restraints, finding them too tight and definitely unbreakable. Yep. He was going to win.
But the best part? She was too.
He left the bed. Amy sucked in some much-needed air, curious as to what he would do next. He’d painted some naughty pictures in her mind with his talk of nipple clamps and vibrators.
She glanced around the room wondering where he’d hidden his bag of tricks. Had he stowed it in the house prior to her arrival or carried it in with him tonight? Given the fact the restraints had already been attached to the bedframe, she suspected he’d set the scene earlier.
Reaching for the buttons on his shirt, he slowly slipped each one from its hole. He knew she’d been on the verge of an orgasm. He obviously intended to punish her for her outspokenness by leaving her in need.
Arsehole.
God, he’s hot.

Six months after her cheating husband died Emily declared to was time to start living and went out with her sister-in-law and best friend.  She had gotten two tickets to a dance being held in Middlemarch.  They took the train and off they went for a night of fun.

Saber and his brothers were at the dance also and in all honesty they were the ones that set it all up.  They were were-panthers and the females available were few to none and this seemed like a good way to draw them to town.

Saber thought he was past ever finding his mate but wanted to help his younger brothers possibly find their mates.  When he say Emily he knew right away that she was his mate.  He had to convience her and that would not be easy.  She knew nothing about what he was and she no longer trusted men after what all her husband had put her through.

He was up for the challenge without a doubt but it would take more than super sex to gain her trust.  The sex was great and mutually enjoyed but she still had trust issues he had to work on because he didn't want to force a mate claim on her, he wanted her to want him as much as he wanted her.

Summer Spirit Blog Tour

Chapter Three
He climbed onto the bed and lay next to me on his side, propping himself up on his right arm. Fixed in his gaze, I felt him reach over with his left hand and lightly touch my chest. He drew it down my stomach, stopping on my abdomen. The hairs on my body became alive, electric, aroused as he brushed over them. It felt like someone drew a feather over my skin.

From the moment I saw him in the doorway, our eyes locked and I was fixed in his piercing stare. I did not see his hand move, only felt it. He didn’t look at my body once, only directly into my eyes. I was consumed by his gaze. I could see his loneliness, his longing, his hunger and desire.

Summer Spirit Book Summary:
Ryan Kinkaid, a successful gay Manhattan antique dealer has had it with life in New York City, especially his random love life. Ryan has what most New Yorkers want — his own successful business, and a mortgage-free brownstone on West 71st Street. However, at age forty-one he discovers he is lacking one very important thing in his life: a meaningful and loving relationship. With summer just around the corner, the approaching heat and his restlessness are reasons for his escape from the city. A four-month rental in historic and picturesque Portsmouth, New Hampshire, with his best friend Lauren was the answer.

Renting a house built in 1810, kindred spirit Nicholas reaches out for contact, and Ryan finds himself wanting to know about the past. However, Nicholas is not the only one wanting Ryan’s attention. Ty, a handsome local man, also has strong desires for Ryan.

The stark contrast of the past collides with the present in this tale of lost and betrayed love, and irrational and undying prejudice.

In the end, all that is left is the affirmation of the value of honesty and commitment in love.

A communications graduate of the City Universities of New York, and after twenty-nine years as a human resources administrator, Jay decided to apply his understanding of the complexities and foibles of the human character in a more creative way.

Like the main character, Ryan Kinkaid, Jay is a gay man who believes in love and commitment. He and his husband have been together for over thirty years and live on the West coast of Florida with their two cats. A transplant from New York, Jay continues to travel regularly to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, to connect with the New England life which he so loves.

Excerpt Wicked Valentine
Chapter One

What in the hell was wrong with this picture? She was at a retreat, or what she liked to think of as a stupid idea someone with too much time had come up with to push her and her coworkers into learning to communicate better, get a feel for what each employee wanted to get out of the job, and figure out a way to provide better service…and some other crap she couldn’t remember at the moment.

Why in the world did she have to be there? She slapped her calf, killing off another mosquito. Darkness enveloped the group around the campfire, which made it easy for her glance over to the side and chug on the wine bottle, the one she had strategically placed next to the tree trunk she sat on. Everyone was so involved in “sharing” that they didn’t notice her getting drunk in the back, alone. And that was perfectly fine by her.

If only they would stop the incessant chatter already and send her off to bed, giving her some peace. But if she went to bed in her very lonely cabin, she wouldn’t be able to watch Max.

She glanced off to the side, as if admiring the scenery, and took another gulp of wine, the fruity flavor no longer bursting on her tongue but mixing with the lingering sweetness from her previous swig.

“Sabrina?” Eve’s sharp tone made her jerk to face the rest of the group. Normally she wouldn’t mind being called by her real name, though everyone outside of work knew her as Nina, but the way Eve said it, with so much severity, it made her want to wince.

“Hmm?”

The outdoors and nature did nothing to smooth out Eve’s harsh features. Nor did she look anywhere near friendly with the glare she directed toward Nina. Nina had to fight the urge to giggle every time Eve looked at her that way. Eve reminded her of Cruella de Vil.

“I asked if there was anything you’d like to add to the discussion?”

Nina’s gaze slid past Eve to lock on Max. His lips quirked, almost like he knew exactly what she’d been doing. Too bad he was so far away and there were all those people there, or she’d finally do something about the attraction that didn’t let her sleep. She was ready to finally give in to temptation and have her way with him. Screw the fact that they worked together. Or better said, she worked for him.

“No, Eve. I think what you have shared covers all the important points we’re here to discuss.” Lie. She had no clue what Eve had been saying.

Eve’s frown smoothed, and she lifted her chin. “Thank you, Sabrina.” She turned back to the others, effectively dismissing her. “As I was saying…”

Nina shut Eve’s low, droning voice out of her mind again and peeked down a passageway between the trees. There was enough light from the campsite, she could just make out her way down the path. Curiosity got a hold of her. She stood on wobbly legs and blinked. The group spun out of focus for a second.

“Sabrina?”

Nina took a few steps toward the dimly lit passage in the woods before she turned to Max’s enquiring voice. “I’m just going to the ladies room for a moment.” She pointed in the direction of the trees.

“Wait! That’s not…”

She ignored Max’s call to her and strolled off, breaking twigs and dead leaves with each step. Mosquitoes nibbled on her legs, each bite a constant reminder that she wished she was home in her bed, relaxing, or at least with someone that would help her fight the arousal shooting through her whenever she glanced at Max. But she’d broken up with her last boyfriend a while back. Since he didn’t get the message that she was no longer interested, she had stopped going to the places she might encounter him.

With each step she took, the sound of the river beckoned her in its direction. Her foot caught, and she tripped on a branch. She squealed as the earth tilted in front of her. Rocky ground rushed up to meet her face.

A strong pair of hands grabbed her by the waist and hauled her backward. “I got you.” Max’s deep voice caressed her ear while he helped her straighten.

Swooshing from water streaming nearby and crickets, somewhere in the vicinity, were the only sounds to be heard. Each noise drove home the fact she was outdoors and anyone could come by, not that she cared.

He shifted her in his arms until she faced him, her front leaning heavily into his muscled body. She sighed, glancing up into his shadowed face. Not that she needed light to know what his delectable square jaw looked like. Or how brilliant his blue eyes were. He leaned back into a thick tree trunk, pulling her with him.

Slow caresses trailed down her back, making her shiver and her blood thicken in her veins. With each intimate touch, her body throbbed. It was time to stop torturing herself. She couldn’t fight her body any longer.

“I think you’ve had a few too many, beautiful. Let’s get you back to your cabin.”

“No.” She lifted on the tips of her trainers, curled her hands around his neck, and pulled his head down to her. “Now stop torturing me, and kiss me, damn it.”

He groaned softly. “Sabrina, you’ve definitely had too much to drink. Sneaking in wine was not part of the agenda, you know.” He stroked down her spine to the curve of her ass and palmed her cheeks.

She huddled closer, cradling his erection in the juncture of her thighs. “I know it wasn’t, but Eve is boring. And it’s not that I’ve had too much too much to drink. I’ve just had enough, Max. I’m tired of fighting this. I want you.”

“Baby, you hate my guts.” He chuckled, lowered, and dropped a kiss on her nose.

Arousal gathered inside her, heating her blood by more degrees than she cared to admit. “No. I don’t hate you. I just don’t like that I want you so much.” She kissed his jaw, loving the sound of his sharp inhale when she licked his neck.

“Sabrina…”

Breaths mingled, gazes connected, and wet heat dripped from her sex. It was pure torture to have his sexy mouth so close and not get a taste. “Just kiss me, Max. I need you.”

Peaks of tension zigzagged inside her and made her shudder. He held her neck with one hand, tilted her head back, and swooped down for a kiss. Potent need, unlike any she’d ever felt before, possessed her. She whimpered into the sensual kiss. Each swipe of his tongue over hers added kindling to the explosions going off inside her. She raked her nails down his T-shirt, over his hard-muscled chest, and to his jeans. “Fuck me.”

He drew back from their kiss, ending the twining of their tongues. A scowl, deeply etched on his face, showed his disbelief at her words. But this time she wasn’t going with logic. She decided to give in to what her body desired. And it desired Max.

“Sabr—” One soft moan left his lips when she gripped his cock over his jeans.

“Max, this isn’t a game. I want to see you.” She panted, unbuckling his belt. “I want to touch you.” Excitement rushed through her, urging her to unzip his jeans. “I want to taste you…”

When a ghost of a girl recently killed appears to Morgan she knows she has to help to find peace for this girl.  As things become clearer as to what happened Morgan's life is in danger and Ethan takes over keeping her safe and helps her solve the unknown reason why the girl cannot find peace.

Morgan and Ethan are perfect for each other because Ethan grounds her and the impact from things she touches do not hit her so hard when he is also touching her and by the same token Ethan has never been with a woman that touches his dominate side and his compassionate side.  They are truly made for each other.

While the sexual side of their relationship grows by leaps and bounds they are trying to figure out who killed the girl and has attacked Morgan.

Morgan learns more about her desire to be Ethan's sub and is finding new limits all the time.  Morgan feels alive and in love and is questing for more and Ethan is more than willing to cautiously open doors for her.

Loved the fantastically descriptive take on things that were around be it a building, a room, a person or a toy being used.  Leroy's not forget the 9 1/2 inch long, wrist thick tool!

Action taken to the max, adventure ever present!  Suspense is high gear and mystery abounds.  Every token touch into sexuality was explosive, cringe worthy at points, pant worthy at others but as Morgan expressed -what is next!

Beautiful to have such a grounding, loving couple explore and explode to the heights of such magnitude.

Nobody's Angel Virtual Book Tour

Nobody’s Angel
by Stacy Gail

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BLURB:
Book one in The Earth Angels
 Investigative journalist Kendall Glynn is horrified when a friend and colleague signs off permanently during a live newscast, jabbing a pen into his jugular. Kendall's no expert, but judging by the strange white veil in the anchorman's eyes, she would swear he was a man possessed.
A descendant of the accursed Nephilim, Zeke Reece prowls San Francisco by night, keeping the city free from paranormal phenomena. But even he is no match for whatever malevolent force is behind a recent rash of murder-suicides. And when a beautiful tenacious reporter becomes the next target, Zeke has no choice but to stay close to her, until he can find the evil spirit and cross it over.
The closer Kendall gets to the truth, the more danger she's in. Fortunately, a sexy and mysterious masked stranger keeps swooping in to the rescue. Kendall's life depends on finding who or what is responsible for the killings, before it finds her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

“You,” she breathed. She struggled to get a clear view of him, but it was a hopeless task. Even if a mask hadn’t covered half his face, the darkness around him seemed deeper, like an impenetrable black hole where no light could exist. “Where… How…”

“Quiet.” The tension in his voice was palpable. She could even feel it in the body that pinned her to the alley wall, thrumming with a kill-or-be-killed urgency that made her own pulse pound. “It took off once it diverted me. I can’t believe how smart it is.”

“What’s smart?” Shadows filled the places where his eyes should be, leaving dark pools of endless mystery. Belatedly she realized their bodies touched in one long line from chest to knees, and it was all she could do to pull a coherent thought together. “What took off? Why did you attack me?”

A low growl emanated from him. “I didn’t attack you, I saved your life. Again. You’re welcome, by the way.”

“You saved me? From what, that out-of-control scooter? I’ll admit, I never heard it coming—”

“That’s because it wasn’t running at the time.”

“What?” Her eyes went wide as horror began to creep in. “That’s impossible.”

“Impossible is the definition of your life lately.” She sensed more than saw his head angle closer to hers, as if to share intimate whispers in the dark. A shiver she knew he must have felt shook her when the feathering of his breath caressed her lips.

Before we begin, I’d like to thank Erzabet at Erzabet Enchantments for allowing me to chat about NOBODY’S ANGEL, my latest release from Carina Press, and the first book in The Earth Angels paranormal romance series!

1.     How did you get started writing?
SG: Heh, I was writing fanfic before it was cool.  I used to read Trixie Belden when I was a kiddo, and I’d “rewrite” the endings for each book where Trixie got to kiss her crush, Jim Frayne. :D

2.      What is your favorite scene in the book?
SG: Ooh, there are a couple scenes in NOBODY’S ANGEL that really rev my engine. *waggles brows* But I’d have to say the “reveal” scene, when the heroine Kendall recognizes the hero as being Zeke Reece, is probably my favorite.  I mean, how would you feel when you found out the guy you were falling for was a superhero with wings? ^_^

3.      What about the paranormal sets your blood on fire?
SG: The limitless possibilities of it.  Anything can—and often does—happen in the world of the paranormal.

4.      Angels are an interesting and provocative subject. Tell us a little about the characters in your world.
SG: The original Nephilim were angel-human hybrids.  Thousands of years later, their descendants are mostly human…with a little angelic DNA thrown in. Zeke Reece, whose ancestor was an angel of death, grapples with things that go bump in the night while doing his best to keep Kendall Glynn, the target of a supernatural attack, out of danger.  For her part, Kendall is terrified, yes, but she’s not willing to sit idly by and be a victim.  She’s determined to find answers to the evil that is targeting her. Eventually Zeke and Kendall will have to work together to stay alive.

5.      Cheeseburger or pizza?
SG: Cheeseburger! (Pizza has too many carbs, sadly *sigh*)

6.      What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
SG: Cookies ‘n’ cream, yummmm.

7.      Open the book and tell us what is happening.
      SG:  Shock and awe—a murder-suicide just happened on a live local TV news broadcast, and this is what starts the ball rolling in NOBODY’s ANGEL.

8.      Plotter or pantster?
SG: Plotter, all the way.

9.      Movie watcher or book enthusiast (when not writing...lol)
SG: Bury me in books!

10.  What is next on your writing horizon
SG: Ready for the list?  Here’s what my 2013 calendar looks like…
2-4-13—SAVAGE ANGEL releases, the second book in The Earth Angels series
5-13—WOUNDED ANGEL releases, the third book in The Earth Angels series
7-13—UGLY DUCKLINGS FINISH FIRST, the first book in my small town contemporary romance series, entitled Bitterthorn, Texas
And I just finished the final book in The Earth Angels, DANGEROUS ANGEL, so hopefully my editor will like what she sees, and we’ll have that out sometime next year.  Fingers crossed!

A competitive figure skater from the age of eight, Stacy Gail began writing stories in between events to pass the time. By the age of fourteen, she told her parents she was either going to be a figure skating coach who was also a published romance writer, or a romance writer who was also a skating pro. Now with a day job of playing on the ice with her students, and writing everything from steampunk to cyberpunk, contemporary to paranormal at night, both dreams have come true.
