Review:

This book was a great example of how age play can work when life changes. With humor and some real life issues, this book was a great read that had me in turns nodding and laughing at some of the circumstances Derek and Rachel find themselves in. How do you pretend to be a little when you have to be a mom-or a dad? In this engaging romp around the playroom, these two characters figure it out one spanking at a time. Can they find the balance they need? You'll have to read this one to find out.

I enjoyed this read very much.

We Need A Little Christmas

This excerpt comes from my brand new Age Play holiday novella. It’s part of the We Need a Little Christmas box set, also written by the amazing Abbie Adams.

In the following scene, Jack decides to change things up a bit right before they make love…

"Do you mind waiting a few more minutes before starting?"

She groaned and frowned up at him.

"Give me three minutes. I promise, you'll like it."

"All right," she said with a huff and started to sit up.

"I didn't tell you to get up," he growled and her eyes widened. "Lay back down, right there. Keep your breasts out, so I can keep an eye on one of my favorite parts of your body." He grinned when her eyes dilated and her breath quickened. "Oh, and one more thing." He turned to give her a toothy grin. "Play with your nipples for me. I want them nice and firm and ready for my mouth when I return."

The soft groan she released accompanied a quick shifting of her pelvis. His wife loved dirty talk.

"Play with yourself. Now."

Whimpering, she took one finger between her luscious lips and sucked. God, if that was his cock, he would be in Heaven right now. She got her finger nice and wet, and tentatively trailed it down to her breasts.

Review:

I was offered Katherine Dean's wonderful story to review and I fell in love with it from the start. The main character Ivy is a woman who by day works as a high powered lawyer but by night secretly dreams of being a "Little." Her husband knows something is up and when he finds out just what his wife is hungering for, he gives her a holiday gift she won't ever forget.

This was a wonderful foray into the world of age play. Ivy is conflicted because she still has a woman's needs but also finds herself wanting to be a little girl with her husband as a Daddy. I loved the emotional depth of this story and the struggle Ivy had accepting her true desires. Jack, her husband was a wonderful and willing partner, giving her the discipline and support she needed.

If you are a fan of age play or are new to the topic, you have to give this book a try.

Review:

I fell in love with Ana's book Desire in Any Language and was thrilled to see what came next in Mira's adventures. Hana was still a bit of mystery at the end of the last book- I admit I was pretty transfixed on Mira's fascination with her tutor myself. Finding out more about Hana and Mira's relationship was very exciting. Going to the Castle on vacation was even more so. All the possibilities-especially in a shared universe like this one. When Mira gets to the Castle, she finds out that the luxury vacation she thought she was getting is very different from the reality that awaits her. Each step took me deeper and deeper and I didn't want it to end.

Thinking about how this book made me feel left me with twisting emotions indeed. I loved it completely. It explored age play and that is something I have discovered is a trigger point in most cases. So...I identified with Mira's terror at being touched by the male teacher in the school. When something bad happens to you like what she experienced, it leaves scars. I will be the first to admit it-I still have them and they pop up and the damnedest times. Journeying with Mira at the Castle, I felt like I was there with her as she was dressed in in children's clothes and made to behave as if she were a child. It was hard for her and for more than one reason.

Mira did not accept what was happening to her. The loss of control was something that she struggled with, especially when she felt threatened by individuals in what was to be a safe environment. She was not honest with Hana about what had happened to her and how being put into a position of vulnerability around a man could trigger the despair and helplessness that caused her to lash out. Epic emotions and some pretty intense spankings ensue. I could not stop reading. (Even with my own deadlines-I kept sneaking off to find out what happened.)

Ana writes on an emotional plane that takes me with her every time. In Mira's Miracle I learned how it feels to walk into an age play situation and become accustomed to it as Mira did. Battling the trust and vulnerability issues was a big one. I think Ana did a wonderful job of showing the tenderness in every act of love and every spanking that took place. Age play was so not the pervy thing I thought it would be. Not with f/f. I, like Mira, felt safe in the Castle once I understood the boundaries and can't wait for another trip with a flaming hairbrush or nurse's pocket paddle. The letters at the beginning of the book and at the end still have me thinking and I really hope we will be seeing more of these lovely ladies.

Excerpt #3:

James paced the floor. Back and forth. His shoes threatened to wear a path into the rug.

Where was she? She knew she was supposed to check in, but she hadn’t.

She said she was going to a movie. Had texted him about that. But the showing should have been over hours ago. Where could she be?

And why didn’t she answer her phone? Or respond to his texts? His stomach tightened.

Her car was in the garage. She must have ridden with someone else. Supposedly she was with Charmaine, but he didn’t know that number…

His gut lurched. What if she wasn’t with Charmaine? What if she were with another guy? Or worse, injured in an accident…

Grab a hold of yourself. People are late all the time for good reasons. Traffic. Things happen. It could be anything.

Forcing himself to sit down, he reached for the remote control. Maybe watching television would distract him. He took a deep breath and tried to concentrate on SportsCenter. How did he keep finding himself in this predicament? He frowned. Usually women waited for him. His time was valuable. Too valuable to be stuck waiting around for a girl too self-involved or headstrong to obey his rules. His anger swelled.

The jangle of the phone startled him. It was a text from Marley.

“Sorry, Daddy. Went to dinner with Charmaine and Kimberly and forgot to tell you. Please forgive me. On my way home now.”

A wave of relief washed over him. Thank God. She was okay.

Now that he knew she was okay, his thoughts turned to consequences. He’d never really had to punish Marley. He’d spanked her a few times, but nothing significant. Or there would be repercussions.

“Daddy, I’m so sorry.” She tossed her purse to the side and rushed to him, showering him with kisses. “I totally forgot to call you. I’m so sorry,” she repeated, her face forlorn.

He hugged her to him. “I’m glad you’re okay. I was worried. Are you aware of that?” His voice was firm, almost harsh.

Fidgeting, she replied, “I guess, but I didn’t mean to upset you.”

“It doesn’t matter if you didn’t intend to do it; the point is you broke the rule. Rules are in place for a reason, Marley. This rule is for your safety and my peace of mind. I’m disappointed that you selfishly disregarded it. In this case you caused me unnecessary worry. And for that you shall be punished.”

“But Daddy…” she protested.

“But Daddy what?”

She lowered her head. “It’s just—I didn’t mean to, and I’m sorry. Isn’t that enough?”

“No. It is not enough. Now go into your bedroom and strip naked. When I come in there I want you naked and kneeling on the floor with your hands behind your back.”

“But Daddy!” Her voice shook with fear.
