Isaac's maker Drake was stabbed and a young witch was in the wrong place at the wrong time and was killed by a shot fired at the werewolf that had staked Drake.

Things are in an uproar between the vampires, werewolves and witches.

Isaac had to leave the area 10 years ago because he had been in a car accident and had nearly died when Drake found him and turned him.  At the same time a witch tried to save him and the magic combined left him turned not able to permit his new vampire blood to fix his mangled face.  She has wondered all these years what happened to him as no body was found.  He is dead to his human family and now his maker has been killed.  He returns to seek revenge and he captures the first witch he comes across to get some answers.

Isaac is further confused when the witch he has grabbed turns out to be the same witch that years ago tried to save him and there seems to be an unexplained magic between them. A spell binding read! Loved the chemistry between the characters!

The Vampire's Wolf.  Book two

Isaac's vampire sister, Amberlyn, is in love with Kane, a werewolf.  Things are explosive between the clans now and witches want revenge and the vampires are hungry for blood.  Isaac is in love with a witch and his vampire sister is in love with a werewolf. War has been declared.

Things are going from bad to worst for all of them and things need to be cleared up quickly before more lives are taken and before the human population becomes aware of  the supernatural elements among them. Another great edge of your seat read!

The Vampire's Human.  Book Three

Sara is a human and has had her eyes on Devin for some time whenever she watched him tend bar but knew she could do nothing about her desires with the way the town felt about vampires.  Everything was is a turmoil and all because a few witches were trying to gain power.  The witches were turning the vampires against the werewolves and the humans were caught up in the middle.  It was not accepted for a human to have anything to do with either werewolves or vampires.  Not until the witches went too far and turned the whole town into a blood bath. The elder witches forced to step in and put a stop to it all.  The town was nearly killed entirely before the evil doers were stopped and stripped of their powers.  Now those that were remaining had a big job ahead of them to rebuild the town and fate was left to take care of the rest of it.

If you want a series rich with characters that leap off the page then this one is for you!

I’m sure that most author dreams of the day that one of his or her books makes the big screen. I have had that dream many times, only I kind-of take it a step further. First, I married a singer/songwriter, so I dream also of his writing the music for the movie. Then, I imagine us celebrating by spending our earnings on some romantic dream vacation like a trip across the US, waterfall to waterfall maybe, in a luxury motor home… Sorry, back now, I was daydreaming!
I’ve had the same dreams with my new series, At War in the Willows. I would love to see the special effects of a war between vampires, witches and werewolves, especially in the little resort town of The Willows, a lake resort in the mountains of Tennessee. Rated R, at least, the one who chose the cast would have some great fun. So, let’s say I’m the casting director. Who would I pick? Well, that isn’t as easy as it seems. There are a lot of great actors and actresses, but I would have to be able to imagine them as their paranormal creature as well. So, here goes.
Book 1, The Vampire's Witch: I would go with Jared Padalecki as my vampire Issac and Julia Roberts as my witch Winter. I think Jared would be a great vampire, not like one in Supernatural, but as a tall, dark, brooding, vampire, with the sexy hair dyed a bit darker, defined chest make-upped to a pale white, etc. I think he could pull off the scars on Issac’s face, hood pulled down low over one side, serious face, yeah, Jared would be sexy anyway, right? But, could you see him with the long and red-haired Julia Roberts as the witch he falls for, the girl who has always been in love with him, even long after she had thought him dead?

Book 2, The Vampire's Wolf: I’m thinking Kate Beckinsale as my vampire Amberlyn and Joe Manganiello as my werewolf Kane. Hmm, love these two, and I think Kate is tough ans gutsy enough to be my female vampire with a tragic past. And well, everyone knows that Joe is just the best werewolf ever. No one could ever top him. But, I think they look really hot together as well.

Book 3, The Vampire's Human: I’m going with Josh Holloway as my vampire Devin and Emma Stone as my human Sara. Why Josh? Well, if I had a book made into a movie, simply, he would just have to be in it! No questions asked. LOL But, can you picture him as a rough and tumble vampire, one who defends those he loves to the death, would do anything for anyone? Plus, my Devin is the tough street kid turned vampire turned bartender who finds a soft spot for a human. And, I just love Emma Stone. She makes a good female human, right? *giggles*

So, what do you think of my couples? I am open to suggestions here.

Book Description:

The Willows is a resort town run by vampires, werewolves and witches. Here, their true identities are kept secret from humans, and intimate relations between the individual clans are strictly forbidden.

When it becomes known that the vampire Amberlyn has fallen in love with the werewolf Kane, the tedious line of their co-existence has been crossed. Caught in the crossfire of this revelation, Drake, the vampire clan leader and Amberlyn’s maker, is killed along with an innocent witch. These deaths spark a series of horrific events leading to an all out War In The Willows.

Unexpected close encounters, bodies ripe with need, and situations beyond their control lead to forbidden relationships. Now three vampires, a witch, a werewolf and a human must ride along the edges of the rules. They will attempt once unthinkable romantic entanglements despite all those who oppose their relationships, while fighting for their lives as well.

With the Willows full of violence and bloodshed, meetings and magic amiss, will the clans ever be able to find peace among them again? Or, will this war destroy the Willows?

Meet Kiki Howell

Ever since she was young, Kiki Howell has loved to listen to a well-woven tale with real characters, inspired plots, and delightful resolutions. Kiki could spend hours lost in a book, and soon she knew that creating lives, loves, and losses with just words had to be the greatest thing that she could do. To that end, she pursued her study of literature and writing, earning a bachelor’s degree in English. She then followed in a Master’s program in Creative Writing.

“After a long break having my boys, I finally just had to write again. And, as soon as I gave the stories the space, they entered it. It’s both awesome and humbling to find the words in my mind become characters on a page and create their lives.”
She has now had over thirty stories published between eleven different publishers. Kiki could not be more thrilled or grateful to see her creations polished and out in the real world. Please look around. Although a bit of caution, most of her stories tend to hang out on the graphically sexy side of town.

In May, 2011, Kiki was chosen as an Ohioana Book Festival author for her novel, Torn Asunder. And, in March 2012, Kiki was awarded Bestselling Author for Naughty Nights Press, also earning two Silver Stars from All Romance Ebooks for her NNP novellas: Love, Creativity and Magick; The Vampire's Witch; and most recently Mystical Mayhem. Kiki's At War in the Willows Series has also been nominated for Best Series of 2012 by Sizzling PR
Kiki resides in the Midwest with her incredibly handsome and talented, singer/songwriter husband Stephen Howell and two children. When she is not writing, she is spending time with her family, reading, baking or knitting.
Her biggest dream is to have a novel she writes be made into a movie that her husband creates the soundtrack for, and then cruise to Alaska with her family on the money they make.
