1. How did you start writing erotic
romance?
Erotic seems so x rated. I started writing ‘love’ books when I finally got brave enough to say the word sex out loud and not just in my head.

2. Plotter or pantster?
It depends if I’m stuck or not. I try not to force the story. Sure there is a certain direction I want it to go, but most of the time I let the people in my head whisper to me what they want. Forcing stories especially romance is like shoving two panda bears in a cage and forcing them to mate. Not pretty.
3. What are three things you have on your writing desk?
I don’t have a writing desk. I write wherever.
4. Favorite food?
Pork ribs, fries, if its greasy I probably love it.
5. Tell us a little about your new release. What character in the book really spoke to you?
It would have to be Rayne. She is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. In a way we could say she is recovering from love. She is trying too hard to keep her head above the water when she finds herself responsible for the happiness of a little girl and a man who behaves like an ogre 60% of the time. She tries to heal him and heal herself along the way. She is a strong woman, loving and brave.
6. I write because ____...
Its my escape. Sometime the real world is a bit too much for me. At times I find myself battling a darkness that creeps up on me and engulfs me. Writing keeps me in my head while taking me out of my head. I live other people’s lives for weeks or months. I am constantly writing or coming up with stories. They make me happy.
7. What is your favorite type of character to write about?
The ugly that turns beautiful. I think we constantly focus on prince charming and ignore the potential of all the frogs. Never ending beauty can get boring. It’s good to dust the dirt off a piece of gold, just to discover its beauty. So kiss a frog and turn him into prince charming, because in reality, human beings aren’t that perfect or good every single second of their lives.

8. What is the sexiest scene you ever
wrote?
In this book ‘His Love’ I think I’ll let you find out on your own.
9. What advice would you give new authors in the erotica/romance field?
Let it flow. Figure out what your characters are like. Because forcing situations on them or unrealistic circumstances turns a reader off. Let it flow.
10. What is next on your writerly horizon?
I am writing a series now. I am usually terrified of those, but I thought it was time to be brave.

About the author:
Listening to the voices in my head. Putting
them down on paper and giving you a piece of my mind. Writing is an escape. There is a little piece of me in every character
I create and in every moment.
Book cover and blurb
What happens when the person engineered
by God to love you, can't? Antonio
doesn't know how to love his daughter. Every time he looks at her all he can
see is the reason his wife died, but when Rayne, a business graduate, comes to
his house to play nanny he is forced out of his ice cold exterior. He falls in
love with his nanny, but Rayne doesn't want anything to do with him, because of
the way he treats his daughter. Now Antonio has to learn how to love his
daughter again, while trying to convince the woman he loves, to stay with him
and not to take their baby away.
Book excerpt:
“Hi.”
Antonio stared at her. Her lips had
haunted his dreams and he didn’t like it. The more he thought of her the less
he thought of Maria. “What do you want?”
He saw the look of shock on her face
before determination replaced it. His plan of being hostile wasn’t working, on
his part anyway. His body seemed to be reacting and going against his mind.
“What’s your name anyway?”
“Rayne Matthews.” She hissed through
clenched teeth.
“Rayne,” he begun.
“Miss Mathews.” She corrected.
Antonio chuckled then started off
towards his bedroom, “Miss. Mathews what can I do for you at this ungodly
hour.”
“I wanted to speak to you about
Alessandria’s birthday.” She said as she followed him into the room.
Antonio stared at her in shock as she
walked past him at the door and into the room. He couldn’t overcome the feeling
of how right she looked being in his living room. He couldn’t explain where his
feelings for her were coming from. But he thought it could be because he hadn’t
been with another woman since his Maria.
“Of course, come in.” he mumbled as he
begun to shed off his suit.
“I was thinking that maybe we could do
something special for her.” She went on.
He took his shirt off and had the
pleasure of seeing her fall silent as her eyes scanned over his body. Antonio
knew he had a good physique; he spent hours in the gym trying to release his
pent up aggression and some stress. His ripped body was the result of that work
out. Antonio watched as her chest heaved, her eyes darkened with desire and
when her tongue licked her plump lip, and that was it. He took two long strides
and his body was up against hers. He waited for that anger he had seen days
before to push him away, but she didn’t.
She seemed lost in the desire building
up between them. Her hands smoothed over his muscles and he felt his body burn
at her touch. His breath grew raged as his pants tightened around his hard on.
He wanted to plunge into her, feel himself move inside her, hear her cry out
his name. He lowered his lips to hers and seized them. The kiss was just as he
expected, sweet and powerful. They engaged in a quick sprint towards insanity
as their lips moulded against each other, building up this need to tear into
each other.
He cupped his hands on her rear and
pulled her against his desire. He grunted his approval when he heard her moan.
Antonio had never once considered sleeping with the help, but he needed to feel
Rayne’s naked body move underneath his, her soft skin as they touched and her
body surrender as he drove her to her climax. But just as his body acted on his
thoughts he felt her pull away.
“What did you do that for?” she asked as
she tried to catch her breath.
Antonio stared at her, wondering if she
had been in the same room as he was. He retreated into his closet and came back
dressed in a t-shirt and sweat pants. He sat behind his desk in his living room
and took his laptop out with the intention of working. Rayne was still standing
there staring daggers at him.
“We don’t celebrate birthdays here.” He
spat out.
“She’s four years old.” He heard the
crack of emotion in her voice and wondered where it came from. “You are her
father; you should do something for her.”
“Mother usually has a dinner for her.
Talk to my mother.” Antonio went back staring at the black screen of his
laptop. He couldn’t bear to see the tears flowing down Rayne’s cheeks as her
eyes accused him of being a bad father. He knew that already and knew what
everyone thought. He didn’t mind or cared. But having Rayne look at him with such
disgust made him want to weep.
“It’s not her fault you know.”
“What do you mean?”
“It’s not her fault your wife died.
Don’t you think Alessandria knows that’s the reason you hate her. She’s a
little girl but I guess she’s as strong as her daddy.” He watched as she headed
towards the door and all he wanted to do was reach out to her and bear out his
soul. But his pride wouldn’t let him, “Maria would be ashamed of what you are
doing to her baby. I know I would.”
His body trembled with rage as she
banged his door shut. How could she? She didn’t have the right. Rayne didn’t
know how much he had lost.
Thanks for having M.O. Kenyan!
