When the chance comes to crash a party she just knows she should have been invited to comes along, she enlists the aid of her trusty cat Nona to help her cast the spell for the perfect dress. But crashing this party isn't the only thing that’s going to rain on this witch’s parade.

Marcus of Pendleton is a cat shifter in search of his brother. Then a lead at the Warty Frog takes him on an adventure filled with magic and well…zombies. Can the prince find the fair witch and the answer he seeks? And he might just be the familiar she's looking for...

Excerpt:

“He’s been missing for months. How can you not care?” Marcus Pendleton ground out, staring at his father in disbelief. The king sat on his throne gnawing on a turkey leg, grease sliding down his pudgy face.
“Because my boy, Rhys was the younger son. He may have been a prince, but you’re the one who will inherit the throne.”
“So why did you bother searching the kingdom for a princess and having a ball?”
The king narrowed his eyes at his son. “That happened to be for you. Scheduling a dragon-hunting trip for that weekend was in atrocious form. Your mother was highly disappointed.”
“I’ll bet.” Marcus kicked his foot against the dais. He fought down the urge to shift and show his father his extreme displeasure. No doubt the old man would have an apoplectic fit if he found out his son had been bitten and turned into the one animal he despised the most. Not even a beast like a wolf, but merely a cat. His father loathed the animals and forbade having them on the castle grounds.
“You need to focus on finding yourself a princess, not running about the kingdoms slaying beasts and bothering with that fool brother of yours. The last time anyone saw him, he was following some skirt around and blathering on about a missing shoe.” His father shuddered, holding his hand up in disgust. “There were twelve of them. All dressed alike too. The men were talking about it. Prattling, dancing, blonde things with wings.” His wandering eye drifted toward a serving wench with a rather tight bodice.
Marcus couldn’t believe his ears. Twelve of them? That didn’t sound right. Neither did his father’s decision not look for Rhys. It was unthinkable. Right now, if he could have, he would dump his inheritance in his father’s lap and be done with him. The man’s priorities were limited to two things. Food and sleep.
No. Make it three. His father had the wandering eye of a lecherous pig farmer. He didn’t know how his mother stood it. Given the chance, he was surprised she hadn’t chucked him over the palace walls years ago and been done with it.
“Wait, Father. Did you say he was sniffing around a girl with a missing shoe?”
“Yes,” his father chuffed. “What of it?”
“What of it, indeed…” Marcus stalked out of the throne room, an idea forming in his head. Someone else must have seen a shoeless maiden, and he was damn well going to find out what was going on. And twelve girls all dressed the same? How very odd indeed. He wasn’t known as the best tracker in the two kingdoms for naught. If he couldn’t find out something about them, he may as well go sit up in the tower and sew with his mother’s handmaidens.
“Marcus. Come back here. Marcus!”
He shut the door on his father’s ranting, encountering his servant boy on the other side of the door.
“Geoffrey, Saddle my horse. Tonight we ride.”

Under the Satyr Moon

Under the Satyr Moon a curse was wrought, and under the same moon shall it be reversed...
...if the Fates allow.

A freelance photography job goes downhill fast when Lily Anders' boyfriend dumps her and disappears from the campsite, leaving her stranded in the middle of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Feeling lost, heartbroken, and afraid, Lily follows a mysterious melody through the wilderness. She never would have guessed the source of the music would reveal that legendary figures of Greek mythology really existed, and she could be one of them.

Ever since he was cursed, Ariston has only wanted one thing—to be human again. He has searched the globe for a nymph to free him, but over three thousand years of failure has pushed him into a life of solitude. Ariston believes he's finally found the salvation he's longed for when he catches Lily spying on him in the forest. Unfortunately, he has to convince her to like him first.

What seems to be the Fates bringing them together in time for the Satyr Moon proves to be an elaborate scheme with macabre intentions. Dionysus has sent Ariston's estranged brother, Adonis, to ensure the curse cannot be broken, and nothing tosses cold water over the flame of seduction like a twin seeking vengeance.

"Oh God. Oh God. I'm hallucinating, probably have a fever, and I need to get out of here now." She nodded as she said the last word as if it finalized her babbling, confirming an inner argument of some sort.
"I don't think you're suffering any ailments. You can keep gawking at me all you like. Although, I would prefer if you looked a little higher than my feet." Much more impressive, that. At least, no one had ever complained before.
She made a derogatory noise in the back of her throat. "Please tell me you're some D&D nerd in a really well-made costume and you mean me no harm. Also, if you have a cell phone, I would really appreciate it if you don't take my previous comment personally and let me borrow it for a moment." Ah, well, that solved one of his concerns; if she had no phone, she couldn't have sent evidence or contacted anyone about what she'd seen. Unless, of course, she had a camera stashed somewhere. I should probably frisk her to find out.
He crossed his arms. "This is not a costume." Ariston narrowed his eyes, a thought occurring to him. "I didn't sense you being attracted by my song like I did the blonde. Are you a magical being? Who are you? A deity? A demigoddess?" He was on to something there, but wasn't sure what. Had she brought the freak thunderstorm the night before? There had been no sign of rain, yet rained it had. And hailed on top of it.
"Right... Maybe you should let me hold that phone I mentioned before. I think it could bring help for both of us."
"I don't have a phone on me. Where would I put it? In my leg hair?" He lifted a hoof and waved it in a counterclockwise motion. Brunette's eyes widened once more. Why did everyone get all worked up over the hooves, but not the horns? Those mostly received a pffft reaction followed by a series of retorts about his nature of "horniness." It's not like he would start making goat noises and chewing on buttons. The only part of his anatomy of any real importance hung heavily between his legs, and that was as human as any mortal man. Except he liked to think he was better endowed.
"In your, uh, gun holster?" Brunette pointed to his panpipes.
"What about it?" Ariston asked.
"You asked where you would put a cellphone. There is a large pocket on your strappy purse thingy." She nibbled her full bottom lip, an act that shot fire to his groin.
"It's not a purse. How could you even say that? It's very manly."
"Uh huh. Of course."
"It is." The twinge of lust faded out as he noticed the blood spotted bandage across the palm of her hand. "How were you injured?" Ariston took an unconscious step toward her. He had medical supplies at the cabin. Though he healed at phenomenal speeds, his blood still made a mess when it flowed on the wrong side of his skin. He could patch her up in no time.
She glanced at her palm, almost surprised to see the bandage there. Then she shook her head and said, "Yeah, this is the weirdest conversation ever. Sorry, but...gotta dash." She darted off in the opposite direction. As she sprinted away, stinging drops of water began to bombard his skin. Brunette had to be the one manipulating the rain, but how? What was she? It must be linked to her emotions somehow, and it made him wonder what had happened to provoke the furious assault from the elements the night before.
Ariston snapped out of his stupor and chased after her. "Hey, not so fast!" A thought started taking root in his mind. He'd been excited about her before, but if he was right... Gods, he couldn't let her escape. Not if there was a chance.
Brunette was magical in nature, affecting the elements. The timing was too good to be true. Ariston had sought one of her kind for as long as he'd been a satyr, and if she turned out being a nymph, she was also his savior. Unfortunately, his salvation continued putting distance between them. She may have the upper hand in the rain, but he knew the forest well. He'd capture her like the legends of old, and she'd be his. Mine!
She had revealed herself to him. Perhaps not intentionally, yet she had. All he needed was Brunette to desire him enough to take him as a lover under the Satyr Moon. He smiled. Ariston was rusty when it came to true seduction, without the use of magic, but he enjoyed a challenge. He could be free, mortal, could finally have a family, grow old, and live a normal human life.

A Visit with Rebekah Lewis:

1.       How did you start writing erotic romance?

I got a weird idea in my head, and started writing to see what would happen. Ended up being naughty LOL

2.       Plotter or pantster?

A little of both. I plot an outline then the rest is filled in as I go.

3.       What are three things you have on your writing desk?

Cell phone, Funko Pop figures of Thor and Loki, and a miniature statue of Atlas holding the globe on his shoulders.

4.       Favorite food?

Mac and cheese

5.       Tell us a little about your new release. What character in the book really spoke to you?

Under the Satyr Moon is about a satyr named Ariston who has been trying to find a nymph to break his curse for over three thousand years.  He finally finds her and has to convince her to like him which proves difficult when he keeps making himself look bad because he has no experience in wooing properly. Lily was much easier to write than Ariston. Though Hermes, as always, is the one that is the most vocal in terms of me writing him.

6.       I write because ____...

I will go insane from all the voices in my head otherwise. ;)

7.       What is your favorite type of character to write about?

One with no filter. I am an introvert. I am also shy and have social anxiety. So characters that are outgoing and say what they want are a lot of fun because they can do and say things I can't do or say without having an anxiety attack and dying of mortification :P

8.       What is the sexiest scene you ever wrote?

In  Under the Satyr Moon, Ariston tells Lily he could seduce her into wanting to be with him for the ritual at the end of the book. Things occur that prevents it, but Lily, being curious, eventually asks what he would do. So he shows her, and that scene makes me blush just thinking about.

9.       What advice would you give new authors in the erotica/romance field?

Don't stress so much about the erotic scenes on the first draft. I fill it in on the first revision because I will sit there and stare at the computer feeling overwhelmed if I try to do it the first time. It slows the story flow, and I rather keep writing and enhance it latter than try to make it perfect on the first pass.

10. What is next on your writerly horizon?

Hermes is getting a novella. Because he won't shut up. LOL I am also dabbling in a dystopian novel and a time travel novella about a pirate in present day.

Review:

Some books grab you by the hair and keep you up with the e-reader light burning. This was one of them. Kylie has an unfortunate problem. She's dead and the object of her affection is very much alive. Only feeling safe from the demonic force that stalks her when she touches or is close to Liam, the detective on her case, she feels more alive now than she ever did before. When she learns that Liam can not only see her, but feel her as well, the book spins into an out of control sexy romp that curled my toes.

The mystery behind Kylie's death grows deeper as her sister arrives in town. Who are the paranormal creatures involved? When Kylie goes missing and Ann is threatened, things go from bad to worse. Liam will have to confront the reality of who he is and who he wants to become-and that includes having Kylie at his side.

I loved this book and I can't wait to go back and get the first book in the series. These two authors have crafted a world steeped in Cajun magic and otherworldly mysticism that had me enraptured from the get go. Loved it!!! Liam and Kylie rocked my world.

Review:

Jessica is bored out of her mind. She is jealous of everyone around her who is happy in their relationships and longs for a connection of her own. She is at work deleting emails when she comes across a love spell. On a lark, she grabs what she can and performs her own version. When nothing happens, she dismisses it as hogwash...but then Toni arrives seeking a cabin for the night. Jilted at the alter, she is out to have an adventure of her own. When these two ladies become trapped in the office, some pretty hot sparks ensue.

This books was a quick, spicy tale of f/f lust gone wild. Toni is a kinkster at heart and uses everything at her disposal to give Jessica a taste of what sensual happiness can truly mean. Spanking, bondage and sex with a snow globe are all on the agenda for the night if Jess can keep up with Toni's wilder side. Is it just a one night affair or will Jess accompany Toni on her honeymoon for one? You have to read this red hot number to find out.

The characters were hot and the action hotter! You'll want a glass of ice water for sure when you taste these Captive Pleasures!

Houdini Girl by Martyn Bedford

The Houdini Girl by Martyn Bedford
Fletcher 'Red' Brandon is a conjurer, an illusionist, a master of deception who uses his talents to seduce wild, impulsive Irish rose, Rosa, into his life with a simple sleight of hand. But when Rosa is killed, Red is pitched into a new world where betrayal, exploitation and violence are no act. The deeper Red delves into the life and death of the woman with who he shared one sexy, freewheeling year, the closer he comes to a painful realization: even the trickster can be tricked.
*****
Excerpt:
Prologue

Truth is, I tricked her into falling for me. Rosa Kelly: dark hair, blue eyes – wicked combination. And, though she could’ve had her pick, she fell for me. OK, maybe ‘tricked’ has inappropriate connotations. How about this: she wasn’t tricked so much as beguiled? Yes. Altogether more apt.

Beguiled. Comparable to ‘bewitched’, with its suggestions of sensuality and enchantment. Certainly, the illusion with which I beguiled her depended, for effect and execution, on intimacy of touch and a semblance of the supernatural. We were in a pub in Oxford, the Eagle and Child; wood panelling, nooks and crannies. We were strangers. I was with my friends, she was with hers. Someone in my group knew someone in hers and, following the complicated rearrangement of tables and chairs, there were thirteen of us seated together. An inauspicious assembly if you’re inclined to superstition, which I am not. I’d noticed Rosa even before the two parties had become one, though I made sure to give no indication of
paying her more, or less, attention than the other newcomers in our smoky, boozy alcove. The positioning of the chairs – I swear I had nothing to do with it, occupied as I was with the transfer of drinks – brought us directly opposite one another. She was smoking Marlboro and drinking Belgian lager straight from the bottle. Her eyeshadow was pale green, to match her lipstick. She wore a ring on every finger and on both thumbs.

‘Watch that one, Rosa, he’s a magician,’ said one of my friends as the introductions were completed.

Rosa, drawing deeply on a cigarette, exhaled across the table. ‘There,’ she said, ‘I’ve made him disappear in a puff of smoke.’

Everyone roared at that. Brilliant timing, impeccable delivery. I might’ve reached over and produced a cheese-and-onion crisp from behind her ear, but when you’ve just been upstaged in public the least embarrassing recourse is to play the supporting role with good grace. Besides, a crisp?

So I laughed along with the rest of them. Rosa’s voice was slightly husky, her accent a curious concoction of Irish and London; her eyes and mouth smiled in perfect synchronization, as though she enjoyed nothing more than being made to laugh. She turned to the guy on her left, asking him to pass an ashtray. They fell into conversation, her long black hair snagging now and then on his shoulder as she leaned close to hear him. Me, I drank and talked to my friends and went to the bar and to the toilet. And, with discretion, I observed her hands – all those rings, the emerald nails, the way she held her drink, lit a cigarette. She had long bony fingers and thin wrists engulfed in bracelets and friendship bands and the cuffs of a multicoloured woollen sweater several sizes too big for her. Every fresh bottle of beer, she shredded the label clean off with her thumbnail.

I have magician’s hands. By that, I don’t mean they are the perfect size or shape for my work, because such perfection of design is rare. It helps to have hands large enough to facilitate, say, the concealment of a playing card; but large hands have large fingers, less well suited to the more nimble manipulations. The trick is to adapt. Most anatomical deficiencies of the hand can, within reason, be compensated for by rigorous practice
or by appropriate props. (If you’ve got small hands, use a smaller pack of cards.) My hands are neither too large nor too small; what they are is well trained. I have taught myself dexterity and ambidexterity. A speciality in my repertoire of sleights is ‘acquitment’ – the showing of a hand as empty while actually it contains something. Done ineptly, this is known in the profession as ‘hand-washing’. Two tips: one, rehearse in front of a mirror until your movements appear entirely natural; two, never look at your hands while effecting a sleight, because the one place the audience is sure to look is where you’re looking.

Rosa’s hands weren’t magical; for all their conscious disguise of adornment and manipulation, they revealed rather than concealed. I longed to hold them. We’d all been drinking for a while when a familiar appeal issued from the hubbub of overlapping chatter. Hey, Red, show us a trick.

Even my oldest friends do this. You get used to it.

‘I’m playing the Crucible, in Sheffield, next Friday, if you want to come along.’

‘Fuck off and show us a trick.’

‘Fuck off yourself.’

‘What’s this, the Illusion of the Cantankerous Git?’

After a moment or two of this, you give in. And you always involve someone else in the illusion, because they love all that. I’ll need the help of an assistant from the audience; come on, don’t be shy . . . That evening, I made eye contact across the table. Blue irises, green eyeshadow. With no perceptible alteration, Rosa’s expression said Don’t even think about it. But the enthusiastic coercion of others as they edged their chairs closer to
our table made it more awkward for her to decline than to agree.

‘Go on, then.’ Defiance. Her eyes, her tone of voice, the set of her shoulders said she was prepared to be unimpressed; nothing I could do could possibly surprise or interest her or escape her detection. And if I tried to make her appear foolish I’d fail because she didn’t give a shite what anyone thought of her, least of all me. She smiled. ‘If you’re good, I’ll let you make me a giraffe out of balloons.’

I instructed her to hold out her hands, palms downwards. She did this. I took them in mine and drew them over the centre of the table. Her skin was cool and dry. Releasing her hands, I told her to make fists. She made fists. Everyone was quiet now, watching and listening with rapt attention.

‘You’re a Roman Catholic, right?’ I asked.

‘And there’s you guessing that, with me talking like a Kerrywoman.’

One or two people giggled.

‘Do you believe in the stigmata?’

‘The what?’

‘That we can be marked with the sign of Christ’s suffering on the cross?’

‘Oh, sure.’

I dipped the tip of my right middle finger into the ashtray, piled with the accumulated tappings from her own cigarettes. Displaying the silvery-grey stain at the end of the finger, I declared, ‘By rubbing this into the back of your clenched fist, I shall cause the ash to pass through the hand and appear like a stigma in the centre of your palm.’

Her eyes said Oh, yeah. I kept my face a blank of composed concentration. Placing my fingertip on the back of her right hand, I began massaging the ash gently into the pale skin with a small, circular movement. The bracelets on her wrist clicked against one another as she responded involuntarily to the pressure of my touch. All eyes were focused on the point of contact, where a charcoal smear now blemished the skin.

Rosa glanced up at me, then down again at the back of her hand.

‘Now, Rosa, please unclench your fist and display your hand palm upwards.’

She did as instructed. Her palm was unmarked. Silence gave way to stifled laughs, a groan, a jeer. Rosa caught my eye again, smirking slightly, and I feigned an expression of alarmed incomprehension. She was about to recline in her seat.

‘Are you left-handed?’ I asked suddenly.

She nodded.

‘You are?’

‘Yeah.’

‘In that case, would you unclench your left hand for me?’

It was her turn for puzzlement. Her smile became uncertain. The onlookers had fallen quiet once more, switching attention to her other fist. Rosa uncurled the fingers and, slowly, hesitantly, revolved the palm upwards. In its centre was an unmistakable dab of cigarette ash.

Gypsy Witch by Suz deMello

The Sacramento Sheriff's Department is no place for airy-fairy wimps, and Ben McCullough is the toughest of the tough. He tells himself he's bedding the luscious Elena Lautari only because she's a babe, not because she's a card-carrying member of the Northern California Church of Wicca. Ben thinks she's a feather away from an arrest for fraud, since she makes a living telling fortunes and making charms for the lovelorn. He can't see her as a lifelong mate even though she's more than a match for him in the sack, and losing her is unthinkable.

But Elena is the real deal, a modern witch of much power and even more restraint. When her daughter, Gina, steals her mother's spell book and uses it to shatter the fabric of existence and release an ancient evil, Elena must put reality back in place—even if she loses Ben in the process. Will Ben and Elena's fragile love be lost with the revelation of her magic?

Maybe, but there are others ready to heal her battered heart. When Ben's partner attempts to claim Elena, will Ben move aside or move in?

WARNING: Two stubborn sexy wizards using magic with no bounds, scorching love
scenes, and happy ever after. Ever play with fire?

Excerpt – (Steamy)
Dark, rich chocolate colored bedding echoed the tile framing the fireplace. Dainty furniture, curved legs and soft cushions, yet the poster bed was large and sturdy. She’d seen it before while she visited his dreams. Definitely Devin’s room. And remembering didn’t help the ache snaking through her body.

Walking into the en suite, the first thing to catch her eyes was the floor-to-ceiling mirror covering one wall. Arianne studied her reflection. Her long, dark curls were mussed and tangled around a pale face. Her lips were pink and just a bit swollen from Devin’s kiss. The only thing she wore was a long white shirt. Sniffing the collar, she smelled the crisp, clean fragrance clinging to the material. His shirt, not conjured. Devin didn’t wear cologne, but the scent of his soap always stayed with her. He must have changed her clothes. What else had she missed?

Because I love you. Men were ever a puzzle. Still, hadn’t she known? The dreams they shared had changed over time, slow and sweet instead of hot and fierce. A softness came over his face each night she visited his sleep, the same one she had seen this morning. Just that look was enough to have her quaking inside.

She found a bottle of bubble bath on the side of the tub. Thanks to Devin's dreams and Allie's influence, she had knowledge of modern conveniences such as indoor plumbing. Turning the faucet on hot, Arianne poured two capfuls under the stream and let the water run until the big round tub filled. Reluctantly, she unfastened the shirt buttons and let the material fall away to the floor. Slipping into the frothy bubbles, she sighed and let the reality of her situation sink in.

I am finally out of that wretched circle. True enough, but she was still in a prison of sorts. One with running water, walls, food that didn’t taste like air, and a sexy male witch bent on driving her to frustration. Not so bad, all things considered.

Being trapped in the stone dance didn’t mean she hadn’t noticed changes in the world around her for a thousand years. She tipped her feet out of the water, waved toward them, and turned her toenails a bright fiery red. Allie brought her little things from the modern world. Mostly books filled with sweet love stories; more than a few of them brought a blush to her cheeks. What would Ryan think of his daughter’s taste in novels? Better not to head down that road. Allie had dreams of being a writer like her aunt and uncle. If what she liked to read was any indication, she’d write hot. Very hot. Speaking of hot, a soft tapping sounded at the door. Her maddening laird had returned.

“Okay in there?” His voice sounded hesitant. “Breakfast is ready.”

Time to ruffle the phoenix’s feathers a bit. “There is no need to be shy, Devin. You can come in.”

The sound of splashing water rippled past his ears. Temptress.

Knowing Ari was just on the other side of the door, naked and wet, willing to succumb to every fantasy he could imagine, was a torment in itself. All he had to do was accept her sultry invitation and toss aside his plan. But she deserved a sweet slide into love, not the wild, mad rush of pleasure he craved. One palm rested on the door of its own volition, ready to comply. Not yet. Now, if only his traitorous body would listen to his heart. “That depends, sweetheart.”

“Oh?” she called out from the other side. “On what?”

Devin chuckled at the line, but he just couldn’t resist teasing her. “What are you wearing?”

She laughed. “Bubbles. Lots of bubbles. Share them with me.”

He saw it so clearly. Ari’s creamy skin peeking through the frothy bubbles. Open, welcoming. Need clawed under the skin, screamed at him. Why the hell not? Feeling a quiver of desire vibrate through his body, he called her bluff. “And what would you have me do with those bubbles? Hmm, Ari?”

“Oh, I am sure you could think of something. Something deliciously wicked. I have shared your dreams. I know your fantasies, Devin.”

Oh, you have no idea. His mind made up, Devin opened the door.

She lay in his huge garden tub, feet propped up on the rim, eyes closed, waterfall of black hair piled on top of her head. A soft smile graced her face. So she was enjoying their teasing banter. “Have you changed your mind and decided to join me?”

“Maybe.” No reason he couldn’t push them both to the edge. Pulling the t-shirt over his head, Devin tossed it into the corner. He laid his cellphone on the sink--out of danger--kneeled by the edge of the tub and dipped one hand into cooling water, using his magic to heat it.

“Mmm. Nice.”

He let his voice drop to a whisper as he leaned close to her ear. “I want to slick my hands over every inch of your skin until you shiver from the heat.” His fingers found the back of her knee in the water and trailed higher along the inside of her thigh. “And then…”

A soft “Devin” slipped from her lips as Arianne’s eyes flew open. “And then…”
