When Tam Bouie rides into town on her motorcycle, she finds the welcoming committee of her dreams. In a bar called Issues, the beautiful femme Yasmin Miller seems to have been waiting for a butch on a steel horse to sweep her off her feet.
Yasmin has a serious fetish for women in leather and isn’t afraid to go after what she wants—until she discovers that Tam isn’t just passing through. Convinced that their town is too small for the explosive love affair that threatens to ignite, and the possible fallout if it goes sour, Yasmin drops Tam as quickly as she picked her up.
Tam, however, doesn't give up easily, and Yasmin’s resolutions to stay away from her won’t mean a thing if she can’t resist the sexy butch’s heated leather love.

Review:
This story heats up FAST. Tam is a leather dyke and Yasmin is a flirty femme together they are fire! Three pages in and it started getting hot and heavy. It didn't really stop. While it is an erotic story there is just enough romance to make this girl smile.
This book was well written and flowed at a good pace. It was enjoyable and believable. Ms. Leong is an author I will look for again.

One Flesh by Annabeth Leong
One
Flesh
By Annabeth
Leong
Blurb:
Leticia and Rosalie are planning their wedding, wanting very
much to make their special day one to remember, but Rosalie has something else
weighing on her mind, one more thing she wants to make as special and as memorable
as the ceremony itself—their wedding night. Rosalie wants to be with Leticia in
a way that neither of them had ever been with anyone else. But finding
something that would be a first time for both of them turns out to be harder
than expected.
As it turns out, there is one thing Leticia has wanted to do
but has never trusted anyone enough to allow herself to overcome the fear of
it. And it's something that Rosalie has never done either.
The women discuss the idea of fisting as a means of
connecting and forming an intimate bond with each other, one that they've never
formed with anyone else. They've never loved or trusted anyone else they way
the love and trust each other, and they are determined to find a way to make it
work.
Excerpt:
"I'll call tomorrow to tell the church how many flowers
we want to order," Leticia said, sighing and folding her notebook closed.
No matter how many neat lists she made with her favorite purple pen, the sheer
quantity of wedding-related details was overwhelming. "Can you call the
caterer back, Rosalie? I still feel like they sneaked a charge in somewhere,
but I can't get a straight answer out of them about it."
Her fiancée smiled indulgently. "Better yet. I'll go in
person on my lunch break, and they won't know what hit them."
"Great." Leticia rubbed her temples and closed her
eyes. She'd wanted to go to bed early, but another evening of wedding planning
had made that completely impossible. She was excited to be marrying her one
true love and all, but it was easy to lose track of that when she had fourteen
phone calls to make and her mother demanded an e-mailed progress report every
single night. "That's got to be enough for now."
Leticia stole a quick glance at Rosalie. She'd changed into
a cute pair of pajamas when she got home from work, the childish pattern an odd
contrast with her sophisticated coppery makeup. Leticia briefly fantasized
about peeling the clothing away, revealing her lover's curves and smooth brown
skin. Unfortunately, at that very same moment, she had to stifle a yawn. She
was so damn sleepy. They would need to get to bed immediately if she was going
to give Rosalie proper attention.
"We can't quit planning yet," Rosalie said.
"We haven't discussed the most important thing, and it's coming up
soon."
Leticia groaned. She flipped her notebook open again and
paged through her color-coded, highlighted lists. "We've talked about
everything I had listed for the day, and we even went over things that have
deadlines coming up in the next few days. I don't see what we're—"
"The wedding night," Rosalie purred. "We
haven't discussed that at all."
There was no mistaking the sparkle in her eyes. Leticia
actually blushed, the way she had at Rosalie's makeup counter the first time
they met, when the other woman's soft words of praise, roughened by the obvious
desire in her voice, had gotten Leticia so hot and flushed it had been
impossible to identify the correct shade of foundation for her skin tone. She'd
been forced to come back later, not that she'd minded.
Now that she'd figured out what Rosalie was hinting at,
Leticia played innocent. For all her lover's passion, her Catholic upbringing
had left her with an adorable aversion to using direct language. Leticia loved
to watch Rosalie get flustered while trying to explain her naughty desires. She
batted her eyelashes and focused on her notes again. "We've reserved our
hotel room the night of. We've got our plane tickets to Puerto Rico for the
honeymoon a couple days after that. Everything appears to be in order."
"The wedding night," Rosalie said, apparently
oblivious to Leticia's teasing. She rolled her hands through the air, one over
the other, the gesture an invitation to take the word "night" and run
with it. "The whole reason I wanted an afternoon wedding was so we could
have plenty of time together. Afterward. In the hotel."
"You mean to take a good, long nap? I'm sure we'll be
tired after dealing with all the guests, and coming down from pre-wedding
nerves, too." Leticia couldn't resist continuing the act.
"Not a nap. But I am talking about what we might do in
bed." Now Rosalie colored, a deep red undertone becoming visible beneath
the screen of her makeup.
Leticia composed her face as much as she could manage and
shrugged. "Oh, are you talking about sex?" A giggle threatened to
slip through at Rosalie's incredulous, exasperated expression. "I don't
know. I've read tons of articles about how people get so exhausted from all the
things leading up to a wedding that they don't even really want to have sex by
the time the day is done. We'll have plenty of time for that later in the
honeymoon, won't we?"
"Don't even really want to have sex," Rosalie
repeated slowly, as if the phrase was a math problem and she couldn't quite
work it out. Her forehead wrinkled in utter puzzlement. A snort burst from
Leticia. Realization dawned on Rosalie's face. She grabbed a tissue from the
box on the table and tossed it at her. They'd both collapsed in giggles by the
time the thin paper floated airily to the floor beside Leticia.
Leticia allowed the force of her laughter to pull her off
the chair. She crawled the short space to Rosalie's chair and raised one brown
foot to her lips. Leticia did enjoy a little foot worship now and then, but her
current mood was far from reverent. Slowly, carefully, she slipped her mouth
over Rosalie's polished big toe. She licked until Rosalie's breathing changed,
confused between laughter and moaning. Then Leticia lifted off the toe and
pressed her mouth to the sole of Rosalie's foot. She inhaled, gripped the ankle
tightly, and blew a powerful raspberry.
Rosalie squealed and tried to get away. Leticia smiled but
kept up the wet, ticklish vibrations. Rosalie's foot jerked in her hands.
Leticia kept hold easily. She had plenty of practice restraining patients,
which happened to have fun applications at home.
Rosalie writhed as she laughed. Leticia drew breath for
another raspberry, but cut her eyes up as much as she dared. She didn't want to
miss the sight of her lover, breasts bouncing under her shirt as her rib cage
shook, hips rolling as she struggled to get away, face squeezed tight as if to
ward off the unbearable sensation of being tickled. Effectively, this previewed
Rosalie's orgasm. Warm arousal spread through Leticia's body as she forced Rosalie
to stay in this state, and as she looked forward to seeing the real thing very
soon.
Rosalie rained playful blows onto Leticia's head. "Why
the hell am I marrying you?" It took forever for her to get the sentence
out, as she had to gasp each word between shrieking laughs.
Leticia grinned and tugged at her lower legs. Her lover took
the hint and rolled out of the chair to join her on the floor. Leticia wrapped
her arms around Rosalie, who felt small and hot and curvy. She slipped one hand
down to tickle between her ribs, rewarded by another delicious howl. Rosalie
shoved at her chest. "You are evil, I swear."
"I'm sorry," Leticia said softly, managing to
sound sincerely regretful. She kissed Rosalie's temples with great tenderness,
until her lover relaxed and stopped wriggling. Leticia murmured more soothing
words, rubbing Rosalie's back... then licked the side of her face.

Design and Scandal
She
Knows She's Beautiful
By Annabeth
Leong
Erzabet,
thanks so much for hosting me again! It's great to be here.
My
favorite review of Design
and Scandal so far
said, "Kahala Lin is the type of woman I’ve always aspired to be"
(and thanks for that, Pauline Michael at Night Owl Reviews). I'm so proud the
reviewer felt that way, especially because it wasn't easy for me to write
Kahala. It brought up a lot of my own issues, in fact.
I knew
when I started writing the book that I wanted Kahala to be proud of herself and
her body. I wanted her to be on the other side of the societal shame about
being a curvy girl—full of acceptance, owning her sexuality, and okay with
being different from the mainstream concept of beauty.
I had no
idea how hard that was going to be for me to write. Honestly, that's not at all
how I think about my own body. Too often, the sight of myself in the mirror
brings a sort of sick, hopeless feeling. Just last night, I was out shopping
for bras. It wasn't a good night for that (sometimes it just seems like
insecurity is in the air), and the way I looked under the dressing room lights
was making me tear up. I ended up leaving the store empty-handed, to the
disappointment of my husband, who gets excited about the idea of picking out
pretty lingerie.
I
remember how it felt to write the sex scenes in Design and Scandal. Normally, I turn myself on when
I write sex, and I do it with exuberance. When I wrote these scenes, I was
cringing inside. I worked hard to allow Kahala to be herself and to be
unashamed, but she turned out to be farther down that path than I was. I made
sure that James was not just accepting but crazy about her, but I had trouble
believing the things he said. I edited the first few chapters over and over
again, trying to get the tone right. After I turned the book in to my editor, I
felt a backlash of shame. I was so sure she was going to come back to me and
say that my scenes weren't good.
On the
contrary, my editor was excited about the heat of the book and the confidence
of the main character. And a funny thing happened as I was working on my
edits—coming at my sex scenes as a reader and editor rather than as a writer, I
found they had been transformed. I saw the affirmation, the sexiness, and the
sense of connection gleaming out of them. I saw the beauty that I knew Kahala
ought to have. I'd managed to give it to her despite my battles with my own
insecurities, and that made me so happy.
This is
what amazes me about writing. My characters can go beyond what I'm able to actually
do and feel. They can be better, wiser people. Writing can present a vision, a
possibility. Kahala isn't perfect, and she can be shaken. Her attitudes about
women's bodies change over the course of the story. In the end, however, I
wrote a character who's a lot stronger and braver than I am.
I'm not
exactly sure which parts of Kahala touched the reviewer I mentioned at the
beginning. She may admire her for different reasons. But Kahala is the type of
woman that I, too, aspire to be. Someday, I want to look at my body with the
same confidence that she has. Songs frequently celebrate the idea of a woman
who doesn't know she's beautiful, but I say, forget that. Someday, I want to
know I'm beautiful the way Kahala does.
Excerpt:
“I
said I wouldn’t bother you,” James said slowly.
“What
if you’re not bothering me?”
James
allowed his fingers to dart out and brush the palm of her hand. Kahala closed
her eyes. Her face looked even softer when she relaxed. He leaned forward and
pressed his lips to her cheek. Her hair smelled like pikake flowers, sweet and
clear. He whispered in her ear. “I’ve never seen a woman more my type than
you.”
She
turned her head until his mouth touched not her cheek but her hot, plush lips.
They stayed still that way for a moment, her breath tickling his upper lip.
Then James lifted his hands to her shoulders and pulled her close. Against his,
her body was all curves, all woman, all flesh he wanted to explore with fingers
and tongue. Her mouth opened to him and he forgot himself in the flavor of her
kiss.
“I
love this dress but I want to tear it off you.”
He
felt her lips curve. “Well, don’t do that.” She guided his hand to a set
of laces running down the left side of her body.
His
fingers closed around a bow tied at the bottom of her thigh. He tugged one tail
of it experimentally. “Am I allowed to do this?”
“I
locked the trailer door when I came in.”
James
took that as permission. He pulled the bow apart and touched the bare brown
flesh the action revealed. He kissed the base of her throat and cupped the side
of her thigh, massaging a little. Kahala’s flesh yielded to his touch, molding
itself to the palm of his hand. James slipped the laces open farther, tracing
the webbed pattern they made over the upper part of her leg.
He
wanted her so much that his throat felt tight. She felt right under his
fingers, under his lips, like everything he’d been missing through months of
travel and publicity appearances. “I don’t know if I can go slow,” he
confessed.
“I
don’t want to go slow,” Kahala said. “Finish pulling out those laces.”
James
didn’t need to be asked twice. He undid the rest of them, his heart pounding as
more of her body spilled out of the dress and into his hands. He slipped the
fabric out of the way, thinking he wanted to get her naked as soon as possible.
That
was before he saw her underwear. James actually stood back and gaped. Her red
bra did not attempt to contain her large, delicious breasts. Instead, it only
lifted them, making her curves even rounder and more alluring. The garment
projected a lazy, sensual air, like a thing strapped halfway on for a brief
foray out in the middle of a day in bed. It covered her nipples only partially,
the dark, puckered flesh peeking out above scalloped lace. A red thong framed her
generous ass and cupped her mound, revealing hints of the shape of the lips
beneath. But where most thongs resorted to elastic strings for the waistband,
this rose into a wreath of lace that cupped the lower part of her stomach and
emphasized how every curve of her body flowed into every other—breasts to
stomach to hips to thighs. The sight left him torn between touching her and
gazing at her.
When
he managed to meet her eyes again, Kahala was grinning. “I made those, too,”
she said.
“I’ve
got no worries about what you’ll do with me,” James said, remembering the
costume she was supposed to be designing.
Kahala’s
wink made him forget it again. “Good,” she said, “because I plan to do plenty
with you.” She glanced toward the bed in the back of the trailer. “Why don’t
you get on that?”
Blurb:
Costume
designer Kahala Lin didn't get into her line of work to make clothes for tiny
models. She dreams of creating high-fashion masterpieces for BBWs such as
herself. When she's hired to work on costumes for the science fiction movie Laser Sentinel, she passes up the opportunity
to dress the film's heroine and ends up with the hardest job on set—pleasing
the demanding and devastatingly handsome star, James Corwin.
James is one
of Hollywood's best known actors, but he's in trouble when he's forced into
working on this dud of a movie. James can't relax and enjoy the shoot on
Hawaii's black sand beaches. He needs to prevent this film from becoming an
embarrassment, starting with making sure he's not shot wearing nothing but
spandex, a headdress and a ray gun. His collaboration with the new costume
designer starts out promising, but soon he's so busy taking off her clothes
that he's hardly thinking about what he'll wear at all.
The press,
however, discovers their relationship almost before it begins, and the
resulting scandal threatens both their livelihoods and James' chances with
Kahala.

The Fugitives's Sexy Brother: A Visit With Annabeth Leong
BDSM
Comes in Different Flavors
By Annabeth
Leong
BDSM can seem
like a monolithic practice, but really there are as many ways to do it as there
are couples that practice it.
In my latest
release, The
Fugitive’s Sexy Brother,
I included three BDSM romances—one between the two main characters, and two
subplots with minor characters. I wanted each of them to feel distinct, so I
made sure to vary the tone of the way they used restraints and other BDSM
techniques. Here are short descriptions of the three styles I used, along with
brief excerpts from the scenes.
1. Sweet and caring
One of the
sexiest things I’ve ever heard from a lover was, “I want to hold you in my lap
and brush your hair for a while.” Fernando and Carolina, who practice this
style in the book, use BDSM to express deep affection for each other.
Restraints are part of the way that Fernando fusses over Carolina, and they
free Carolina to enjoy the sensation of being cared for without feeling the
need to reciprocate.
Excerpt:
He knelt
beside her and she wrapped her arms around his neck like a child. Fernando
lifted her up, then into the tub. Finally, Carolina gave him the lover’s smile
he craved. She held his gaze as she put her hands up to the discreet metal bar
he had installed just above the lip of the tub.
“You
know what to say if you want out,” he reminded her.
“Basta.”
“Right.”
He clipped on the restraints, trapping her hands above her head and leaving her
body at his mercy. Then Fernando turned on the water in the tub, careful to
move her legs away from the stream until it warmed to a pleasant temperature.
He covered the drain, then scooped a few handfuls of the lavender beads off the
floor and into the water.
Water
filled the tub and the scent of lavender wafted more strongly through the air.
At first all Fernando did was play with her hair. He undid the bun, then
finger-combed her hair out in long, black tresses to either side of her face.
He took her brush off the sink and used it until the water level rose high
enough to make her breasts float.
When
Fernando finally set the brush down, he took up a washcloth. He anointed it
with honey-scented soap, then leaned over the edge of the tub and stroked it
slowly down the side of her face and neck. She purred under its rough touch. He
rinsed the soap away with water poured from a cupped hand.
Carolina
smiled in response. He saw her relax, her arms loose and comfortable where they
hung from her wrist restraints.
2. Challenging and playful
Javier and
Emily play BDSM games with each other to test and explore each other’s
boundaries. Through BDSM, they learn about each other’s likes, dislikes, and
personalities. Their style involves a lot of cursing, a lot of mock-angry
glares, and a lot of giggling.
Excerpt:
Javier
snapped one cuff onto her left wrist and the other onto her right ankle,
trapping Emily in a half-cross-legged position. It was a clever way to restrain
her and she shivered with the sense of helplessness it gave her. If she tried
to move, she’d be off-balance and easy to control. Javier kissed her forehead.
“How are you doing?”
She
smiled bravely. “Good.”
“Glad to
hear it. Now, I’m going to assume you want to put your pants back on before we
walk back into your building.”
“Uh,
yeah.”
“And
they’re not going to go on very well while your leg is attached to your arm
like that.”
“So I
need to get these handcuffs off.”
Javier’s
smile showed a lot of teeth. “Oh, I’m not going to let you have anything that
could be used to pick locks. You’re going to have to convince me to take them
off.”
Another
jolt of arousal quivered through her body. “What would convince you?”
“Well, I
took your pants off because I want to see you come. A lot. But.” Here he paused
and smiled wickedly. “I’m going to be too busy driving to make you come myself.
If you’re very good and come three times before we get to your apartment, then
I’ll take the handcuffs off and give you back your pants before I take you
inside.”
Emily
worried she’d drip onto the seat. “And if I don’t?”
“It’s
going to be really interesting to see how you move when you’re restrained like
that, isn’t it?” Javier started the car while Emily gaped. “Hey, I was nice,”
he added. “You’re right handed, and that’s the one I left free. Imagine if you
were trying to bring yourself off three times with your non-dominant hand.”
3. Harsh and masterful
Neva craves
Guy’s strong hand. When she’s in the hands of an expert, Neva feels a deep
sense of peace. She enjoys difficult scenes and pain, and seeks the meditative
experience of finding the pleasure hidden beyond these obstacles.
Excerpt:
“Show me
how you feel, Guy.”
He
swallowed. “I don’t think you want that.”
She
raised an eyebrow at that. “Oh, really? You think I can’t take what you’ve
got?”
The next
few moments happened in a blur that she had to decode. Guy charging at her. Her
shirt stripped off with efficient force. Her bra unclasped, yanked free, then
tied around her wrists. His mouth on her nipples, first lips and tongue, then
plenty of teeth.
Neva
squirmed and yelped from the shock of his grasp, but Guy took the tip of her
nipple pointedly between two teeth and she stilled immediately. Fear and
arousal warred in her body as he pulled his mouth back, stretching the delicate
flesh away from her body and pulling her breast taut. She winced as he
continued to pull, pain flowering over her breast.
As the
sensation hit her synapses, her instinct to surrender kicked in and she
belonged to him completely. “Guy,” Neva whispered, “I want you to hurt me.”
He
opened his mouth and let her breast fall out. “I don’t do soft,” he said. “You
won’t be getting a play spanking from me. I want to own you.”
“Yes…”
He
removed her jeans, shoes, and panties.
“If you
want me to stop what I’m doing at any point, you tell me so. I’ll stop
immediately.”
“I’m not
going to ask you to stop.”
“You
don’t know what I’m going to do to you.”
“You
don’t know what I’ve fantasized about you doing.”
Blurb:
Emily
Boysen is sick of low-level bounty hunting jobs that don’t pay her rent, and
sick to death of her ex-boyfriend taking credit for her work. Ready to claim
her due, she takes on the quarry of a lifetime, the notorious Fernando
Bonavita. But instead of the fugitive, she captures his sexy younger brother,
Javier.
Javier
Bonavita never wanted to know the truth about his older brother’s activities,
instead protecting him out of loyalty. When he uses his hacking skills to pose
as Fernando, he never expects to uncover crimes he can’t stomach. Beautiful
Emily has no idea how glad he is to be in her custody—as long as he’s her
prisoner, he doesn’t have to face his brother.
Passion
flares between Emily and Javier, and soon he’s putting the handcuffs on her. Suspicion grows along with
their feelings, though. A sinister plot centers around Fernando, and untangling
it will test their loyalties to the limit.
