Hanna and her two mates, Josh and Reed, are the triad from the Redwood Pack. Hanna is a healer and Reed is a wolf whereas Josh is a finder, someone with the unique ability to find anyone in the world once he has seen their face. Earlier in their lives Josh had been led to Hanna and Josh even though he had never laid eyes on them. The Fates had decided his future for him, they were his mates.
During Josh's attempt to rescue two people he didn't know he was bitten by a demon and now has demon blood running thru his veins.
Hanna is depressed because she wants a child and has not been able to get pregnant. The pack is being threatened again by another pack and by the demons and when Hanna is kidnapped for second time Josh and Reed, as well as the rest of the pack, are at wit's end to find her.
